We really enjoyed our Irish dancing sessions with Miah over the last few weeks. We learned the Haymaker’s Jig, The Walls Of Limerick, Rince na Féile, Peeler and The Goat and The Two Hand Jig.
We are really enjoying learning about bridges in 3rd class. We used paper in different ways to discover the strongest design.

The ‘Project of the Week’ in Ms. Sexton’s class was done by Chloe Lynch today. She chose ‘Sharks’ as her topic. It was extremely interesting and Chloe knew phenomenal amounts of facts and information about the wild predator that none of us had heard before. She was inspired to do her project on Sharks because she adores animals and wildlife and loves finding new facts and information. Well done Chloe!
Mrs Lester/Ms. O’ Connell ‘s 5th class began working with clay today. We looked at examples of waxworks and clay heads before beginning our own creations. Keep an eye out for our finished creations in a few weeks.
6th class visited the Junior Infants in their classes today! It was great fun! We chatted and played! 6th class promised to visit again soon!
